Alan R. Sandler, Esq.

Alan Richard Sandler is a lifelong resident of Tampa, Florida. A graduate of Chamberlain High School, Mr. Sandler received his Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from the University of South Florida in 1986.  Mr. Sandler then went on to obtain his Juris Doctorate degree from St. Thomas University in Miami Gardens, Florida. While advancing through law school, Mr. Sandler worked for the Public Defender’s office in Miami-Dade County as a certified-legal intern. It was here that he tried, and won,  his first jury trial while still attending law school.

After graduation, Mr. Sandler returned to Tampa and began his career as an Assistant  Public Defender in 1992. During his employment at the Office of the Public Defender, he served as the Lead Trial Attorney and tried dozens of  jury trials including murder, sexual battery, robbery and other serious felony cases.

With a growing family, in 1995 Mr. Sandler opened Alan R. Sandler, P.A, a private practice, focusing strictly on criminal law issues. In 2001, Mr. Sandler joined the firm of  Sandler & Perez, a firm which focused on criminal law and personal injury litigation.  He remained there until being provided an opportunity to serve as the Supervising Attorney at Morris, Hardwick, & Schneider, a national property litigation firm, supervising 23 lawyers and 90 paralegals.

In 2015, Mr. Sandler decided to return to the courtroom and formed the law firm of Bald Guy Legal P.A., concentrating on serious criminal law issues, juvenile dependency law, and personal injury litigation. Having tried numerous cases in all areas of his practice, Mr. Sandler has extensive experience in handling even the most difficult cases.  An experienced attorney who is not afraid to go to trial, Mr. Sandler will never force defendants to plead their case, instead, working for his clients until the very end.
